A week of free community projects!

In August this Summer a large group of teenagers will be available to volunteer to bless our community with car washes, gardening and other community projects, finishing off on Sunday the 15th with a community BBQ

... and best of all it’s all completely free
(including the hot dogs)!

Free Gardening

The teenagers are available (with adult supervision) to do simple gardening tasks like weeding and hedge cutting amongst other things.
Please contact us (details below) if you would like some work done so we can plan it.
NB: While we will try to cover everyone, due to time and uptake we cannot guarantee we can do everyone’s gardens.

Free Hot Dog BBQ:

Sunday 15th August 12 - 4pm.
Poringland playing field
(next to Poringland Primary School).

We aim to cater for 2 hot dogs per person. Free squash but if you would like to buy other drinks the bar will be open.
Please RSVP (details below) if you and others intend to come so we can plan how much food to order. Please tell us if you are vegetarian.

Free Car Wash including Free Cafe While You Wait:

Thurs 12th - Sun 15th August 2 - 4:30pm.
Poringland Village Hall (Opposite Budgens).

We aim to be able to wash 3 cars at a time, with free cake, teas and coffee while you wait.

Playing Field Pavilion Project:

During the week we will be doing some maintenance work on the playing field pavilion.
